My wife, Clare, and I have known the team at ERL for many years, and so when we wanted to extend our property, we felt that it was essential that we got them on board asap.  Obviously, we did due diligence, acquiring several quotes for the project, but as we expected, Elite’s was the most comprehensive, detailed and competitively priced. 

From the outset, Elite were extraordinarily helpful in ensuring that the plans were successfully submitted to building control, even to the extent of liaising with us whilst we were away on holiday.

The USPs of ERL are their attention to detail combined with excellent logistical management. Both of which shone through every aspect of the build such as ensuring that the drains were correctly bedded in before being back-filled, to maintaining a floor height that was well within tolerance between the old and new builds and making certain that the project end date was met as first promised. 

The most important aspect of this project was total accessibility in all areas within the extension. This was readily achieved in the new porch and the ramp entrance to it; the entry to the ‘snug’; the link between the old and new incorporating a coffee station; the entry into an existing bedroom from the link into a new bathroom and then on again, into an open-plan living room.

The four sub-contractors employed by Elite, were highly experienced and skilled, and had worked alongside the team for many years.  Shared principles, ethos and working practices made it easy to have them around: everyone employed on site was punctual, polite and hard-working. They would readily answer questions and talked us through each stage of the build.  We were regularly asked if we were happy with the work done to date, and of course, the answer was yes!

We wanted to future-proof our property, and with this in mind, Elite had no problem in installing a new air-source heat pump system with underfloor heating, propelling our 1950s bungalow into the 21^st century.

In summary, therefore, my wife and I, have no reservation in recommending wholeheartedly Elite Refurbishment Limited.
